Network of secondary teachers in North London

Eulalee Connor, Fortismere School, LB Haringey
This secondary school network met for the first time in December 2008 and the teachers are planning their activities for the year. Early interest has been shown in these areas of the Global Dimension: diversity, sustainability and conflict resolution.
Richard is planning on working with his year 7s on a sustainability game as part of Masters level study around the Global Dimension.
Eulalee, Design Technology (Food & Textiles) teacher, is interested in sustainability issues in textiles and ethical fashion , she has worked with Haringey Council and TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) and is involved in their school links with India.
A fourth teacher has since dropped out of this group.
