The introduction is a follow-up for those who expressed further interest at the Identity and Belonging conference. Others welcome.

4th October 10.30 - 5.30: Public Event at
CAN Mezzanine, 32-36 Loman Street, London SE1 0EH The first day of the event will focus on the new developments in terms of OSDE resources and strategies and will be open to the public (participants in the two-day event will engage as active observers).
5th October 10:30 - 5.30: Humanities Education Centre, Tower HamletsThe second day will be an event for those who have previously attended OSDE training focusing on the establishment of the UK learning community around the conceptual framework of OSDE. All participants in this event will be asked to read the book 'Catching the Knowledge Wave?' The Knowledge Society and the Future of Education by Jane Gilbert as a basic framework for discussions/engagement (220 pages) before the course (this book will be mailed to participants on 20 September).
