Reach Out
Reach Out: community cohesion for schools - conference
Monday 30 March 2009 Papers online below
Friends House, Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ
This conference was an opportunity for class teachers, Heads,
advisers and educators to discuss the Community Cohesion agenda. The impressive guest speakers set the context.
The workshops provided practical sessions for teachers to gain ideas from examples which have worked well and could be taken away to try within their own school community.
We were excited that Linton Kwesi Johnson, a prolific writer of dub poetry for many years focusing on community cohesion concerns, performed after lunch and livened up the afternoon!
