RISC
Reading International Solidarity Centre

Arising from a course led by RISC in Bracknell Forest LA, Harmans Water Primary School requested support with project planning for the school's Africa fortnight. The planning group visited RISC for a meeting and learning outcomes were agreed, useful resources identified and artefacts booked. The school considered the project such a success, they published a book about it, which Bracknell Forest distributed to every primary school in the local authority, a large exhibition of children's work from the project was displayed at Bracknell Forest education centre, and a great deal of positive feedback was received.
