In 2008-9 the Secondary PGCE course will include a programme of Global Citizenship activities run jointly by Helen Goddard, Pestalozzi International Development Education Centre, Ruth England, Brighton Peace and Environment Centre and Mary Young

The five sessions will include:

  • Introduction to Global Citizenship
  • Promoting equality
  • Whole-school approaches and resources
  • Where are we now and where do we want to be?
  • Visit to Pestalozzi energy lab, garden, resource centre and peer education programme
