Developing a global school
14 December 2007
Friends' House, Euston Road, London

good day Report documents now appear below!

This event arose from an Open Space discussion at the DEC Conference in March 2007 in which practitioners were motivated to share their experiences of using a whole-school approach to the Global Dimension. The day creates an opportunity to reflect on current initiatives, and discuss commonalities between approaches and follows on from a seminar organised by Leeds DEC (report available). It aims to bring together development education practitioners from across the UK and other educationalists from the London and South East England regions* to:

  • Consider key elements in implementing whole schools approaches
  • Hear and share experience of practitioners working in these areas
  • Discuss the broader significance of whole school approaches within the UK
  • Identify potential ways forward
